Will Poulter Circling 'Maze Runner'

EXCLUSIVE: Will Poulter has been offered one of the leads in Maze Runner, the Des Ball-directed adaptation of the James Dashner novel. Poulter, whose breakout came in Son of Rambow, most recently starred in The Chronicles of Narnia and will next be seen in We're the Millers opposite Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis.

Maze Runner is a post-apocalyptic tale that's produced by The Gotham Group. The main protagonist, Thomas, has his memory wiped and is deposited in a community of boys trapped in an enormous maze. He soon learns they are part of a mysterious test, and finds it is his destiny to join the 'maze runners' and lead them to freedom. Peter Kang and Daria Cercek are overseeing at the studio. Noah Oppenheim wrote the first draft of the script and Grant Myers wrote the next draft.

Poulter is repped by WME and Hamilton Hodell.
