Naomi Foner's Very Good Girls stars Dakota Fanning and Elizabeth Olsen as lifelong best friends determined to lose their virginity. Higher Ground and The Big C's Boyd Holbrook has joined the cast to play the young artist both the girls fall in love with, threatening to tear their relationship apart. Peter Sarsgaard and Demi Moore also star. The film is produced by Norton Herrick's Herrick Entertainment and Michael London's Groundswell Productions. Shooting starts next month in New York.
Holbrook will next be seen in The Host, the adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's sci-fi tome. He also stars in the History Channel mini Hatfields & McCoys that premieres Monday with Kevin Costner, Bill Paxton and Tom Berenger. He's repped by CAA and managed by Cathy Kanner.
