ARC Acquires 'Whole Lotta Sole'

BREAKING: The Terry George-directed Whole Lotta Sole has sold in a near seven figure deal to ARC, which plans an aggressive day and date multiplatform release. Richard Guardian of Lightning is selling foreign and WME Global's Graham Taylor and Deb McIntosh brokered the deal.

Pic premiered at Tribeca Film Festival, and stars Brendan Fraser and Colm Meaney. It's a fish story in which a hapless guy with gambling debts robs a fish market which is owned by the same mobster he owes money to. Cornered in a local curio shop, where he takes hostage an assortment of colorful characters, including a man who might be his illegitimate father. Surrounded by the Police, the SAS, and the Mobster's crew, the young man must find a way out of his precarious predicament with the help of his oddball captives.
