Deadline's Weekly YouTube Channel Rankings

It would have been a surprise if, with the start of the Summer Olympics in London, we didn't see big numbers this week for Team USA ' the U.S. Olympic Team's official channel. And it earned its place on the winner's platform in Deadline.com's rankings of Google-funded YouTube channels for the week ending August 1. Team USA's views soared 266% vs the previous week to 821,022, jumping it 27 slots to No. 26. The YouTube universe also had a strong week as total views in the channels we track rose 31% to 80.8M ' the highest number yet in the 11 weeks we've been following their performance. The top 10 channels accounted for 58% of the views. There were two changes in the top group: Vice jumped 6 places to No. 9 and Noisey was +2 to No. 10. Everyday Health made room by dropping 10 slots to No. 19 while YOMYOMF was -4 to No. 14.

Making the biggest jumps in rank: Life and Times (+40 to No. 48), Team USA, Bleacher Report (+19 to No. 36), Official Comedy (+17 to No. 51), and tied at +16 were Clevver Style (to No. 49) and SB Nation (to No. 45).
