Disney and Marvel tonight hosted a fan screening of Item 47, the short film that will be a prelude to the September 25 DVD release of The Avengers. The screening was organized for fans, the culmination of a daylong Avengers and Item 47-themed scavenger hunt. Short was directed by Marvel Studios co-president Louis D'Esposito and played to a packed house at the Horton plaza theatre. Marvel gets its Hall H panel tomorrow at 6 PM.
